He was tall physically but small in God’s eyes…he was handsome and yet ugly because of his sins…he was rich in this world but a pauper in the spiritual realm…he was strong physically but weak in faith…he had an appetite for the things of this world but he had no heart for God.
When Saul came to the end of his life, he chose to leave God out and die without Him…He faced death the same way he faced life.
When nearing death we need to respond the same way we’ve responded all along because it shows us and others what we’re REALLY like! We need to start facing life the same way we want to face death…pleasing unto God Who gave us life in the first place!
