Poets and songwriters have a way of drawing us into their world of hopes and dreams...of painting word pictures and music that move us, stir our hearts and call us to a hope that seems higher than the throne of God.

When Sanford Bennet prescribed a 'depression' cure for his friend Joseph Webster in his apothecary in Elkhorn, Wisconsin in 1868, I doubt that even he knew and understood the impact those simple and yet profound words would have on christendom for over 150 years now. Joseph's life was changed forever and the hope of Heaven became a reality in the 'then and now' for all of us!

Heaven is for real. It's not some 'pie in the sky' dream offered in a world hopeless and lost...devoid of the reality of the One who created it for those who love Him. It is indeed a "land that is fairer than day" because the Son of righteousness is the light that permeates that land with the radiance of His unending love! Sanford wrote that it's obtainable and viewable, in one's mind's eye only, by faith in the One who created all things.

But the words that are so special to me are "where the Father waits over the way"...With outstretched arms Jesus waits to welcome home His children He's so longed to cuddle and caress...to a place bathed in the eternal peace, tranquility and love we will never FULLY experience this side of Heaven!

Have a wonderful week dear friends! ❤
